this opportunity to introduce you to the Cartier Equine Center's Certified Equine-Assisted Learning Building Block™ Program Series©. Leadership: Going Beyond the Boardroom is a program series specifically designed to provide businesses with an innovative, yet practical approach to motivating individuals and developing strong leaders.

While leadership is easy to explain, leading effectively is not always easy to practice. Yet businesses rely on leaders who's behavior will positively (at times negatively) impact those they oversee.

The Cartier Equine Center, Academy of Equine Assisted Learning has specifically designed a program series that provides individuals with a unique, interactive experience to learn and fine tune valuable skills that can be brought back and used in the workplace.

To encourage teams to work together and move in the same direction requires team work. Exercises are facilitated to successfully find solutions to problem solving. This kind of group interaction while working with horses is a metaphor to the work environment.

Horses are used because of their innate ability to recognize and identify internal frustration and conflict immediately. Teams learn to how to use their equine partners, to heighten their awareness. At times horses are used as barometers for participants to gage their internal energy. This helps them to learn what they need to change (in their approach) to find a different result.

At the end of every exercise, teams engage in a group discussion to determine if they unified their efforts, used every available resource and worked together as allies.
